On December 1st, we joined the Kisii County to celebrate World AIDS Day.
The event began at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH), where the Chief Officer for Health, Khalinder, officially flagged off participants before they proceeded for a walk along the route through Capital Roundabout → Police Station → Ram Hospital Junction → Gudka → Mwembe → Kisii University.
We walked alongside partners, CSOs, health leadership, champions of HIV survival, university administration, and students from Kisii University and Kisii Polytechnic.
ONS-K was represented by our Psycho-Oncologist, Margret Bosibori.
The day included mental health screening, breast and cervical examinations, HIV testing and counseling, and condom distribution.
Together, we continue advocating for awareness, prevention, and equitable access to care.
